Paper Zeppelin Toy (from Winged Crafts)

yet another from Winged Crafts and it's a small but nice one too; the Paper Zeppelin Toy!

here's what she has to say about her model:

"While it is a quite simple model, you will have to figure out how to glue stuff together yourself because the .pdo file is NOT displaying the right glue-connections. I have no idea how to fix it, but I do know what causes it...namely the double sided stuff like the ropes and the basket. I put some tips on how certain stuff should be done in the .pdo itself so it should be self-explanatory. On how to glue everything together check out the preview .pdo file."

Download it at her site here:

Drummerthing's Cataclysms Edge

Alot of people are making some really nice WoW models these days. Here's a new one from Drummerthing's Papercraft and yes, it's the Cataclysms Edge; Life-size! ...or almost.

Here's what Drummything has to say about it:
"Alright guys. I've put a lot of work into this, and it's finally finished. Cataclysm's Edge from World of Warcraft. It's almost life-sized. I planned on it to be 5 1/2 long (that's what it says in my instructions) but it turned out to be only about 4 feet long =\ This is also the first papercraft I've designed *golf clap* Anyway, here it is."

You can download it there: (updated files)

Bear from Winged Crafts.

Oh well, looks like there a website more "WoW-productive" than this one :\
Anyway, if you have any good models, you can email them to us and we'll gladly post 'em here too.

So now here's the Bear model, made by Winged Crafts, which you probably know from the post right below this one...
It's a pretty good looking model and doesn't seem too hard. Also here's some words from the designer:

"There are 10 textures included in the rar, including the spirit bear one. This one ISN'T originally going on this bear model though, so there are a few minor things that won't work out quite nicely (like the bottom of the paws and the bear butt not being see-through) but I edited the texture a bit to make it look sorta like the ingame version. No manes though, I think that is the only part about the model I do not like...so I made it without the mane XD"

And so get it here!

Dragonstalker Helmet from Winged Crafts

Hi all,
I saw that today and thought you'd like it.

It's the Dragonstalker Helmet from Winged Crafts. (yes, it's lifesize!)you can download the file on her website here.

Here's some words from her too:
"The model itself is a pretty easy and straight forward build and you can easily see how it is done on the .pdo. Aside from that...there is another .pdo that has extra 'mohawk' parts. You can also print it all from the .pdf so that it has all the parts already in there.
Included in the file are also 3 texture models. So you can 'pimp' your helmet up if you want ;)"

Hope you'll like it.

DotA & WoW Papertoys

Nothing new from me, but here's some models that you might like.

First, the guys at Cartoontoys.it made a little while ago a whole series of Papertoys inspired by WoW. There's both Hordes and Alliances with each races represented and they are pretty cute...

And then our friends at hobikitkertas.com decided to stop selling their DotA templates and they now give them for free. And there's alot... All based on DotA and Warcraft 3. So go ahead!
(edit: They are still (sadly) selling some of them... c'mon guys, it's not like you have a licence to sell 'em anyway.)

Interview with Blizzard!

Hi everybody,
There's an interview that I did with the Official European WoW Community Website which you can find below. I did the interview in French so the translations might now be perfect, but I heard it's really good. It's one of the spotlight specials they do once in a while about people that create/do things inspired by the WoW Universe. There's some really cool ones (comics, video, real armors...) and now there's one about papercraft too :P

By the way, I only made maybe 2/3 of all the models on the site; Barbarian is making alot these days and there's a few here and there (like the Gnome) which are from other people. Gotta give them some love too XD

They used alot of pictures that are found on the site (mine weren't that good XD), so there's might be chances that your picture ended up on the official WoW website!

Français / English / Spanish / Deustch / Russian

(Stats for the week: +75000 visitors for 282k pages views :D thanks for coming)
-----------------------------------------------------

Looks like some of you need some help with the files, so I'll try to help you.

if you just fell upon this page for the first time and wonder what the heck it is all about, well here's the main line. On this page you'll find papercraft models inspired by the World of Warcraft Universe which you can print and build yourself with only scissors and glue! Each post represents a different model and at the bottom of every post you'll find a download link. And it's all free, well except the glue and paper part...
If there's no download link, it's because we often post pictures of models that people built; the download link is then somewhere else with the original model posted.

You can open the files with Winrar and you'll find in it a PDF which you can print and a PDO file which can be opened in Pepakura Viewer; you can call those 3d instruction manuals. You can also print from the PDO file, but you can't open them if you're on a Mac.

Have Fun and a nice day!

Illidan completed

Hi all! Sorry if we don't post much, we've been really busy (well I am, not sure about Barbarian :\ anyway...)
Abhijitdc finally completed his giant Illidan papercraft so I thought some of you would like to see it in its final stage.

Looks good, but still not sure if I'd build that myself.

Another pic here

Aram Bartholl's "1H" workshop.

Hi everyone, sorry if I'm not posting new models for a while now, I'm busy with a lot of other things, but Barbarian seems to be very successful in filling the void. Voidwalker, I should finish that one :\

Anyway, I just saw that and I thought many of you would like to see it. Aram Bartholl is a pretty funny guy. He makes workshops, conferences and performance arts based around how the digital/virtual worlds relate to and influence the real world. One of his piece is called "1H" and basically, he walks around Berlin wearing weapons from MMORPGs. For it, he even used the Ripsaw model that I made and I gotta admit, I can't even say what kind of expression my face have when I look at it. Really funny and creative; now I wanna see one of his conference.

Here's more details about the project and even a cool video. You can also find more projects as crazy as this one :P

Mini Diablo - Saber - Paperpokés

Hi, I know it's been a while; I've been really busy lately.
I do have some stuff for you:

About 2 weeks ago, I got this Mini Diablo from Barbarian, so for those that didn't get a frostbite yet, you can "exchange the game-end boss "The One True King" for the "Lord of Terror"."
here's what he had to say about it :"Please note that his armpits are really open in the original model and this was not modified here because there are no corresponding faces. Well, it's not visible btw."

Download MINI DIABLO here.

I also got this nice picture from Johannes E.
And I think I found that on /po/
Finally, I've been really busy in the last few weeks (work, sick, work, etc) mostly because of this:
Yup, me and a bunch of friends teamed up to create a Pokémon papercrafts blog!
So this mean that this is the last time I talk about something else than WoW (for a while)...

Pokémon (/sigh) - PaperCraft Museum

Here's Haywan with huh... some creature with a bulb on its back. Looks like he's gonna be a doctor but for now, he's the webmaster of PaperCraft Museum, a kind of website/database of all kind of Papercrafts. So, go check it out if you're tired of Warcraft (but then again, how could you be?!) There's also some videos tutorials too!

Anyway, i'm just posting that because the pic was funny (hey, you did link it below) and also because some people have a hard time finding the few pokémons I'VE made, so here's the list:

Edit: I'll just link to Paperpokés blog.

Anyway, some new stuff maybe later next week, if i'm not too lazy...

...Warcraft stuff.

Human Paladin with Judgement Set.

Some days ago, somebody requested a human pally on the little "shoutlog" in the sidebar to your right. I thought it was a good idea since there's not much human models on this page. So here's a human pally with the Judgement set. It won't be easy to build but i'm sure he'll look great in the end. Use pepakura as always!

Download here. (see update above for info about legs!)

BTW, the french version of the site is starting to take shape. It should be up to date by tomorrow. I put a list of every models with pictures on the page too. Might be worth checking out.

Owlbeast - Night Elf Moonkin

Yes! I already built it.
This one goes to all my moonkin friends!
I know we're alot so I'm sure you'll like this one.
I pretty much got back at playing a druid last month and I like it more and more, but as they say, it's easy to play a druid, but it's hard to play one well.
Or is it a hunter... or a tank...

anyway, HERE IT IS!
and here's the Amberseal Keeper staff, look nice with the moonkins.

oh and that's one of the coolest guild ever!

Modelos del Papel

I gotta link a great site now: Modelos de Papel!

It's in spanish, but don't be afraid, it's easy to navigate and with over a thousand models, you might find something interesting. There's a lot of origami patterns too, and surprise: even Warcraft models :P
I really like the Ancient of Lore one which looks a little like that ->
They're under the Anime folder.

You'll also find alot more links to some great sites too.
Have fun, and some new models later.
