Random Driveling Pieces, part 2.
Honestly, I need to get back at doing WoW models... Problem is, I haven't played in 2 months so, until I buy the expansion, I don't really have Warcraft in mind. And then, better wait some weeks before I get something done since I'll be lost freezing my butt.
I'll make a Voidwalker later this month tho, and maybe some other things...
So anyway, here's part 2 of the not-at-all-related-to warcraft-in-any-way batch of models.
I know, Pokémons extravaganza; they're easy and I got lot of requests AND some help from a certain Skelekitty who's gonna whip me if I don't make all 5634563 pokémons there is.
Edit: Click this link to go to the Pokémons models.

Halloween
Since All Hallows' End is near, I thought I should post something about it.
Sadly, I'm not so big about blogging, I'll just wish you a creepy and horrifying night and lots of cavities in the near months. Over that, a few papercuts won't hurt much.
So let's see what kind of templates I have locked in the vault:
Witch Hat! (careful of warts)
Flimsy Masks! (A Mask for All Occasions)
Black Cats! (scary)
Rats! (yuck)
Caltrop! (why not‽)
Treasure Chest! (always fun to link)
Skull Hammer! (just do the skull)
Razorblade! (good in apples... please don't do that)
Hood of the Malefic! (better now than never)
in fact, any helms is good for a costume...

Swift Brewfest Ram by Barbarian
It seems that Barbarian is making more models than me these days. He just sent me this one, the Swift Brewfest Ram. He looks really great, but i'm not sure if it been tested. Shouldn't be too hard, lots of small pieces tho. Get it right here!
You might wonder why I'm not doing any more models. Actually, I just made 5 new models. The thing is that you won't find them on this blog (Edit: you can get 'em up there!). I've been doing some models for the Nintendo Papercraft Blog which should appear in a week or so. Some big things to come soon too and the Lich King is coming :P
oh and I got this too:

Pokémon (/sigh) - PaperCraft Museum
Here's Haywan with huh... some creature with a bulb on its back. Looks like he's gonna be a doctor but for now, he's the webmaster of PaperCraft Museum, a kind of website/database of all kind of Papercrafts. So, go check it out if you're tired of Warcraft (but then again, how could you be?!) There's also some videos tutorials too!Edit: I'll just link to Paperpokés blog.
Anyway, some new stuff maybe later next week, if i'm not too lazy...
...Warcraft stuff.

Toy-a-day contest.

Toy-A-Day had a contest where people were making their own models. I decided to make a Marylin Monroe one; not bad I ended up at 5th place without much fanfare.
I don't know if Joe's gonna post the models on his website, but here's mine anyway.
Download here.

How to build the Paladin, or any character models, even Mootkin.
Here's some helping tips:
Create each parts separately before glueing them together. By that I mean;
Make the hands, then bracers and then arms.
Make the legs, cuffs and feet. Glue the sole at last.
Make the body.
Make the head.
Make the skirt (don't close it completly)
When you've built every parts, start putting them together.
Glue the arms to the body.
Glue the head to the body.
Glue the legs to the body.
Glue the skirt around the body.
you can also glue the legs inside the skirt and glue the skirt to the body.
If there's a cape, glue it to the back of the body or leave an opening in the back and glue the cape directly in the body instead of the back parts.
It's a pretty useful trick that you can also use for moonkin's fur.
For the shoulders (the equipment piece, not the body part), you don't see inside them so you dont have to make them perfect.
So don't worry about leaving an opening, you're gonna glue that part to the arms anyway. It's easier to close the shoulder from the inside if you leave it open.

Judgement Pally update. (yes, my webcam sucks)

Hi all...
sorry about it, but i'm building the pally right now and I just saw that i didn't include a proper leg pattern in case you want to make the "skirt" on top of them.
In other words, the legs in the pally model are too big (because of the shoes) so the skirt can't be put around them. If you want to make it to show the pants and shoes, go ahead and don't mind this. On the other hand, if you want to make the skirt, I suggest you download this file here.
the complete pally set.
the "complete set" has both legs pattern, just like the model link below.
sorry again about that, mostly to the 257 who downloaded the previous one.

Human Paladin with Judgement Set.

Some days ago, somebody requested a human pally on the little "shoutlog" in the sidebar to your right. I thought it was a good idea since there's not much human models on this page. So here's a human pally with the Judgement set. It won't be easy to build but i'm sure he'll look great in the end. Use pepakura as always!
Download here. (see update above for info about legs!)
BTW, the french version of the site is starting to take shape. It should be up to date by tomorrow. I put a list of every models with pictures on the page too. Might be worth checking out.

Serpent
Somebody asked me make the serpent pet, and since I already had it halfway done, I thought it would be a good time to finish it. I'm one of those players that hate playing a hunter, mine's been lvl 21 for over a year now and I don't really feel like lvling him up. Well, maybe after my druid hit 70... maybe.
Download and have fun making his lil face.

Owlbeast - Night Elf Moonkin
Yes! I already built it.
This one goes to all my moonkin friends!
I know we're alot so I'm sure you'll like this one.
I pretty much got back at playing a druid last month and I like it more and more, but as they say, it's easy to play a druid, but it's hard to play one well.
Or is it a hunter... or a tank...
anyway, HERE IT IS!
and here's the Amberseal Keeper staff, look nice with the moonkins.
oh and that's one of the coolest guild ever!

Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer
Now, the gun with the long name. If you're an engineer, you probably have this gun, and if you're a tanking warrior, you probably want it. I became an engineer just for the tanking google and this gun... and well, the flying machine, that's for sure. Anyway, you have the 1 foot model and the 2½ feet model.

Night Elf, Arthas by Jorge I. Villegas
Here's some new models that somebody sent me some days ago.
So, here's Arthas from Warcraft 3 and a Night Elf Druid (i think) from WoW. The mage to the left is Vivi from FFIX, just lurk a little.
Also, here's a Doomplate Tauren Warrior, it's just the same model as the other warrior but with a better texture imo. (c'mon, it's doomplate)
Stefan Ernst is also building a bunch of models so I'll post some of his pics when he'll finish 'em.

Treasure Chest (same as above)
Here's a new/better version of the Treasure Chest, which you all seem to like very much. I also added the option to have a bronze or a golden one. Who doesn't like to have the choice?

Stormrage Set + Will of Arlokk
I don't usually take requests for characters, but when it's for something that sweet, how can I refuse. I already had most of the pattern done with the warrior anyway. So here's the Stormrage Set with the Will of Arlokk. You'll have to cut the helm to make it fit and the dress might be a lil tight and the staff might be a bitch to make, but i'm sure it will be great.

News!
hey everybody, i got some new stuff for you.
first, i added a "completed models picture show" to your right ->
so send me some pics now.
second, Ted Fallenger sent me these ones a while ago, thought i should finally add it here.
another sword that i really like is the Blade of the Basilisk, which is the one I put one Gward (see pic). also, the shield on him is the Platinum Shield of the Valorous. other pieces I could I used too : Bastion of Light, Deathbringer, Zulian Hacker, Champion's Plate Helm...
after that, somebody asked me for a luth a while ago.
and sorry, i'll redo the title page of the files later, i lost my precious font that i used.
Oh, and i'll repost a new version of the Treasure Chest later this week. might even make a gold one, just for the Swedes...

Wow Insider
hi people and /po/odles :P
just to keep track of some statistics, i use Google Analytics; you can see the stats to the right ---->
anyway, i look at it once in a while and i'm always surprised when i see spikes, just like yesterday when WOW Insider posted a little article (by Zach Yonson) about Warcraft Papercrafts.
it's always fun to read those and mostly the comments people makes about 'em.
anyway, hope you all like it, i only make those for fun so seeing people building 'em is really great.
also, just another link that was on the article : looks like Warcraft III models; seems like Hobikit has some competition :P

Warning
I know alot of you downloaded the Flesh Golem and probably tried to build it.
Sadly, there was a big problem with the legs being all f***ed up, my bad.
here's a working model, the layout isn't good but everything's there to build the beast.

...and three months after.

sorry guys, nothing new yet. i'm completly overboard here so i dont have much time for this page. i took the decision to make a real webpage and not just a blog so until this is done, i'll probably wont post any new models... got some pics tho.
so up there, Kaelthas and Thrall are built by Abhijitdc (you can see more of his models on Hobikit page.)
and here's are mines...

(the layout of the pictures really is a good reason to make a real webpage...)

Interlude
PS. I'll post some new models next week, maybe the rams, i'll see how it goes.
PPS. J'pourrais bien faire une version française de cette page bientôt, je sais qu'il y a beaucoup de francophones qui ont visité ce site depuis l'ouverture l'octobre dernier.
