I made it extra difficult for myself by selecting color in adjacent tabs. Generally with any closed in models you have to plan out the glueing route. Once the wings, limbs were assembled. I started to construct the whole thing from tail to head with the inner mouth being the last to fit. My guess is start from the base shape and move upwards.
