Frostmourne & Death Knight runesword

HI ppl. It's my first post here, and I'm sharing these ones, hope you like it.

The WOTLK brought a lot of improvements to the game, including better graphics, and I'm working a lot to make paper models from some characters - they're a lot harder than the old ones - including Arthas, that will take some time to appear on this page.

The Frostmourne is not an easy one, full of details and small pieces, so I had to make it a 70 cm (27") model.

The Runesword is that one we start the game with (i.e. in SW / ORG); sorry, no frost spell effects :D but there are 5 colors included.

UPDATED: There was a problem with page 6 of Frostmourne. There are some loose parts in the piece that connects to the sword's handle. Pepakura shows them as separated parts, but you must just cut it out as an entire piece, and follow its position in the 3D window to locate where to glue it. Many thanks to Handsomy for the advice, I hope you all can build it mor easily now. The same part was wrong in the life-sized model too, and has been updated, so please download it again and print the pages 6 and 10 for Frostmourne, and pages 31 and 33 for the life-sized Frostmourne.

Download (Mediafire):

DK sword (PDO + PDF) (pdf: black skin only)

...and for the most hardcore fans there's a real-sized Frostmourne I've made for myself (it's the same size of the replica sold by Epic Weapons), the "beta" project is a little (lot) messy but... why not sharing it?

Some new pictures from Johannes E.

Johannes E. sent me those a while ago. It's some more pics of the Dragon and also the Diablo model posted earlier. Nice ones!

Happy Winter Veil again... or Christmas.

Here's some Christmas stuff, well same things as last year. I wanted to do the Snowman and Santa Claus, but time and laziness took its toll on me, or maybe it's because of their completely insane numbers of pieces. I don't want you to still be making them by next Easter.

List:
7 Boxes
3 Socks
Nutcracker

also an updated version of the Treasure Chest;
Treasure Chest (Normal, bronze and gold)

Santa's Hat! aka Red/Green Winter Hats.
That one's pretty big, you can wear it. Maybe...

And a lil Teddybear aka Teddiursa. (from my Paperpokés side)

Also visit the Canon Site from more great stuff.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays. See you next year!

Mini Diablo - Saber - Paperpokés

Hi, I know it's been a while; I've been really busy lately.
I do have some stuff for you:

About 2 weeks ago, I got this Mini Diablo from Barbarian, so for those that didn't get a frostbite yet, you can "exchange the game-end boss "The One True King" for the "Lord of Terror"."
here's what he had to say about it :"Please note that his armpits are really open in the original model and this was not modified here because there are no corresponding faces. Well, it's not visible btw."

Download MINI DIABLO here.

I also got this nice picture from Johannes E.
And I think I found that on /po/
Finally, I've been really busy in the last few weeks (work, sick, work, etc) mostly because of this:
Yup, me and a bunch of friends teamed up to create a Pokémon papercrafts blog!
So this mean that this is the last time I talk about something else than WoW (for a while)...

Random Driveling Pieces, part 2.

Honestly, I need to get back at doing WoW models... Problem is, I haven't played in 2 months so, until I buy the expansion, I don't really have Warcraft in mind. And then, better wait some weeks before I get something done since I'll be lost freezing my butt.
I'll make a Voidwalker later this month tho, and maybe some other things...

So anyway, here's part 2 of the not-at-all-related-to warcraft-in-any-way batch of models.
I know, Pokémons extravaganza; they're easy and I got lot of requests AND some help from a certain Skelekitty who's gonna whip me if I don't make all 5634563 pokémons there is.

Edit: Click this link to go to the Pokémons models.

Halloween

Since All Hallows' End is near, I thought I should post something about it.
Sadly, I'm not so big about blogging, I'll just wish you a creepy and horrifying night and lots of cavities in the near months. Over that, a few papercuts won't hurt much.

So let's see what kind of templates I have locked in the vault:
Pumpkins! (hmm pies)
Witch Hat! (careful of warts)
Flimsy Masks! (A Mask for All Occasions)
Black Cats! (scary)
Rats! (yuck)
Caltrop! (why not)
Treasure Chest! (always fun to link)
Skull Hammer! (just do the skull)
Razorblade! (good in apples... please don't do that)
Hood of the Malefic! (better now than never)
in fact, any helms is good for a costume...

also, be sure to download this one.

Random Driveling Pieces.

Alright, some random stuff completly not linked to Warcraft.
Just some models I did for fun last week, thought I should atleast post 'em so people will be able to find 'em.

Now Warhead, look away for a minute, I'll get back on the program.

Picto Box, Skull Hammer and Miniblins (Stand up/Belly flop),
from Zelda - The Wind Waker, and Dragonite.

Thanks to Skelekitty and Paperbuff for the pics.

Swift Brewfest Ram by Barbarian

It seems that Barbarian is making more models than me these days. He just sent me this one, the Swift Brewfest Ram. He looks really great, but i'm not sure if it been tested. Shouldn't be too hard, lots of small pieces tho. Get it right here!
You might wonder why I'm not doing any more models. Actually, I just made 5 new models. The thing is that you won't find them on this blog (Edit: you can get 'em up there!). I've been doing some models for the Nintendo Papercraft Blog which should appear in a week or so. Some big things to come soon too and the Lich King is coming :P

oh and I got this too:

Pokémon (/sigh) - PaperCraft Museum

Here's Haywan with huh... some creature with a bulb on its back. Looks like he's gonna be a doctor but for now, he's the webmaster of PaperCraft Museum, a kind of website/database of all kind of Papercrafts. So, go check it out if you're tired of Warcraft (but then again, how could you be?!) There's also some videos tutorials too!

Anyway, i'm just posting that because the pic was funny (hey, you did link it below) and also because some people have a hard time finding the few pokémons I'VE made, so here's the list:

Edit: I'll just link to Paperpokés blog.

Anyway, some new stuff maybe later next week, if i'm not too lazy...

...Warcraft stuff.

Toy-a-day contest.

Toy-A-Day had a contest where people were making their own models. I decided to make a Marylin Monroe one; not bad I ended up at 5th place without much fanfare.

I don't know if Joe's gonna post the models on his website, but here's mine anyway.

Download here.

How to build the Paladin, or any character models, even Mootkin.

Here's some helping tips:

Create each parts separately before glueing them together. By that I mean;
Make the hands, then bracers and then arms.
Make the legs, cuffs and feet. Glue the sole at last.
Make the body.
Make the head.
Make the skirt (don't close it completly)

When you've built every parts, start putting them together.
Glue the arms to the body.
Glue the head to the body.
Glue the legs to the body.
Glue the skirt around the body.
you can also glue the legs inside the skirt and glue the skirt to the body.

If there's a cape, glue it to the back of the body or leave an opening in the back and glue the cape directly in the body instead of the back parts.
It's a pretty useful trick that you can also use for moonkin's fur.

For the shoulders (the equipment piece, not the body part), you don't see inside them so you dont have to make them perfect.
So don't worry about leaving an opening, you're gonna glue that part to the arms anyway. It's easier to close the shoulder from the inside if you leave it open.

Judgement Pally update. (yes, my webcam sucks)

Hi all...
sorry about it, but i'm building the pally right now and I just saw that i didn't include a proper leg pattern in case you want to make the "skirt" on top of them.

In other words, the legs in the pally model are too big (because of the shoes) so the skirt can't be put around them. If you want to make it to show the pants and shoes, go ahead and don't mind this. On the other hand, if you want to make the skirt, I suggest you download this file here.

the complete pally set.

the "complete set" has both legs pattern, just like the model link below.
sorry again about that, mostly to the 257 who downloaded the previous one.

Human Paladin with Judgement Set.

Some days ago, somebody requested a human pally on the little "shoutlog" in the sidebar to your right. I thought it was a good idea since there's not much human models on this page. So here's a human pally with the Judgement set. It won't be easy to build but i'm sure he'll look great in the end. Use pepakura as always!

Download here. (see update above for info about legs!)

BTW, the french version of the site is starting to take shape. It should be up to date by tomorrow. I put a list of every models with pictures on the page too. Might be worth checking out.

Serpent

Somebody asked me make the serpent pet, and since I already had it halfway done, I thought it would be a good time to finish it. I'm one of those players that hate playing a hunter, mine's been lvl 21 for over a year now and I don't really feel like lvling him up. Well, maybe after my druid hit 70... maybe.

Download and have fun making his lil face.

Owlbeast - Night Elf Moonkin

Yes! I already built it.
This one goes to all my moonkin friends!
I know we're alot so I'm sure you'll like this one.
I pretty much got back at playing a druid last month and I like it more and more, but as they say, it's easy to play a druid, but it's hard to play one well.
Or is it a hunter... or a tank...

anyway, HERE IT IS!
and here's the Amberseal Keeper staff, look nice with the moonkins.

oh and that's one of the coolest guild ever!

Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer

Now, the gun with the long name. If you're an engineer, you probably have this gun, and if you're a tanking warrior, you probably want it. I became an engineer just for the tanking google and this gun... and well, the flying machine, that's for sure. Anyway, you have the 1 foot model and the 2½ feet model.
